DEREK HUNG

 

Hi! I'm a metal singer and producer from Anaheim, California. Ever since 30 Seconds to Mars featured my TikTok (@SungByDerek) at their 2023 Lollapalooza performance, I have amassed 60k followers on the social media platform, where I post metal music content as well as promote audio companies.

I originally broke into the metal scene in 2019 as the primary songwriter for the metalcore band Dead Inside (featuring members from screamo bands A Static Lullaby and Senses Fail).

As of 2026, I now release music under my personal name, and am working on an album in collaboration with Dal Av.
